Golden-crowned sparrow, moulting

It looked like an immature one to me, because of the scruffy face and head. I was later informed that all golden-crowns go through a spring moult.

However: the pointy tail feathers indicate this one is immature, and they’re in the process of being replaced (note the shorter, round middle feather).
