Inside Hallgrímskirkja

For someone like me used to Catholic pageantry, this Lutheran church is… stark. But not unpleasantly so.

The exterior design (vertical columns inspired from basalt) is repeated in a couple places in the interior, like in the pews. Very pretty and unusual!
