Mont Saint-Michel, low tide

Low tide, and people are out on the bay. I figure they know what they’re doing, because tides can come in very fast and then you better hope you know how to swim — that’s what I meant about the town being defended by the tides. Boats can’t come near, and people need to time their approaches.

But I checked online later, and the tides were still receding at that point, so everything is groovy!
