Prague Metronome

This giant metronome actually beats at 4 beats per minute (or should—it didn’t seem to be going when we were there), and was installed in 1991 on a plinth that used to house an enormous monument to Joseph Stalin, destroyed in 1963. It is a symbolic reminder both of times past, and of how each second leads us into the future.
