Venus of Willendorf

The famous “Venus of Willendorf”. About 29,500 years old and found in 1908 in Willendorf in the Wachau Valley, Lower Austria. The stone is not local to the area; the closest source would have been near Lake Garda in the Italian Alps, a few hundred km away.
