Thesaurus

Another sample on display at the Plantin-Moretus Museum. “A thesaurus of the Low German language, commonly known as Flemish, translated into French and Latin”

There were a bunch more multilingual books there, as well as little phrase books—from Latin to English to German to Greek to Arabic to Hebrew. Just the thing for educated European folks looking to travel, or at least to learn about people not like them.
