White-crowned sparrow fledgling

I followed the constant cheeping around the bushes… and saw this little guy: a fledgling white-crowned sparrow — my first of the season! An adult was nearby and flew off over the beach, leaving this one by itself. It could hop around a bit, but I don’t think it could fly yet
