The Gloriette

At the far end of the garden, and fairly high up on a hill—seriously, leg day is done—is this structure, called the Gloriette. It’s a colonnaded arcade with a closed inner hall, dating to 1775 during the reign of Joseph II and Maria Theresa. It was meant as the crowning touch to the whole garden ensemble, and boy does it work! You can climb stairs to access the roof terrace (paying 5€ for the privilege, are you f-ing kidding me) and the inner hall is now a quite good restaurant.
