Top of Antwerp City Hall
The city is watched over by the Virgin Mary (top), as well as the virtues of Justice and Prudence. On the right foreground is part of the previously described weird fountain with the squirting severed hand.
Not quite sure what to make of all the coats of arms. The rightmost one (double-headed black eagle over castle with open hands) is most similar to the city’s current arms, but I guess things have changed a lot over the centuries.
I only just noticed the letters “SPQA” at the base of the columns. Google was no help, but I’m guessing it’s a callback to the Roman Republic’s motto SPQR (“The Senate and People of Rome”). So, what, it’s The Senate and People of Antwerp?
