Egyptian stuff

There’s a lot of Egyptian stuff. A lot of it. France was gaga over Egypt for a long time, and grabbed quite a lot of loot for their private collections or museums. From sarcophagi and statues to more modest everyday stuff that can give us a glimpse of how people actually lived. And don’t get me wrong, it’s super interesting. But I’m aware I’m looking at the spoils of empire here.
